I enjoy jogging around my neighborhood and Town Lake. For relaxation, I love to color, read or play solitaire on my phone. I also watch way too many movies/TV shows on all the streaming platforms. I have a senior chihuahua/terrier mix named Lulu. Along with 3 large "step-dogs" that belong to my roommates. I am a foodie! I especially love pizza. I even have a pizza tattoo. I also trained at the Aveda institute and received my Cosmetology license. I still renew it when it expires in case I change my mind to become a stylist but once I began working in the salon environment, I fell in love with the business aspect of it all. I still cut hair for a few friends and family members.
My favorite part about my job is getting to know our clients. There are quite a few who I can tell you exactly the services they receive, how often they come in and who they prefer to see for those services. I also love the praise/recognition I get for the job I do. On multiple occasions I've heard that I should be cloned, work all the time, or that I was missed. I think of myself as the Radar of MFX salon (from MASH the TV show). I can hear stylists/guests discussing add ons/changing services or if a colorist finishes a color application, I've updated the book before they even have a chance to tell me.
